- Anyone can join the shared Komodo tours—they’re public group tours where you pay per person and join other travelers. You don’t need to be part of a private group.
- Solo travelers: Solo travelers are welcome on shared tours, and it’s common to meet other tourists on the boat.
- Adults and children: Children can join, with a minimum age of 5 years or older (hiking and boat activities)

What cabin do we recommend?
- For two people or a couple, staying in a private cabin is a good option for more privacy.
- For families with kids, sharing a cabin is a great option. Stay together in one room.
- Solo travel. Stay in a shared cabin and sleep with someone of the same gender.

- The schedule can change at any time. It is dangerous to sail to Komodo Island. Always trust the captain of the ship, and don’t risk your life.
- Safety is the priority on trip to Komodo Island
- We are a travel agent and not a tour organizer for this trip. For any feedback and complaints, we recommend that you send them to the tour organizer.
- All services on board are the tour organizer’s responsibility.
- Our boat has a double bedroom, one bed for two people, and no single beds. This means you will sleep in the same bed with someone (same gender)

- Do not get too close: keep a safe distance from the Komodo dragons. Komodo dragons can be aggressive and move quickly.
- Don’t shout or run: loud noises or sudden movements can startle the Komodo dragon and trigger an aggressive reaction.
- Please don’t feed: Feeding Komodo dragons can habituate them to humans and may cause them to become aggressive.
- Don’t climb trees: Komodo dragons may chase you
- Don’t make sudden movements: Sudden movements can startle dragons and trigger an aggressive reaction.
- Don’t touch dragons: on land or in the sea.
- Do not stay alone: always stay with a tour guide, and do not go alone in the Komodo dragon area.
- Menstruating women must report: You must report to the guide or attendant for special supervision.
- Do not wear red-colored clothing: Komodo dragons have a high sensitivity to the color red.
- Avoid making loud noises: Komodo dragons can become aggressive

Cancellation policy:
- All the payment refunds for cancellations made 7 days up
- A 50% charge applies for cancellations within 5 days
- A full charge is applicable for cancellations within 48 hours.

- Sharing a Komodo package arranged by our local company in Labuan Bajo
- All sharing trip companies will work together; there are minimum and maximum participants to join the trip.
- This program tour is sharing; you cannot get better service, like private trip
- Maximum passengers: 18 People, and a minimum of 10 people on the boat
- The itinerary is subject to change based on local conditions the weather

Tips for snorkeling on the Komodo tour?
- Bring your own mask & snorkel (better fit & hygiene)
- Snorkel close to the shoreline for colorful coral and reef fish.
- Use water shoes or fins—coral can be sharp
- Be aware of jellyfish: they’re not common and can appear seasonally.
- Never touch or step on coral, manta rays & turtles
- Don’t chase fish—float and let them approach
- Wear a rash guard for sun protection and comfort.
Getting In & Out Safe Snorkeling!
How to stay steady:
- Put fins on in the water, not on the boat.
- Hold the side of the boat & sliding in
- Use the ladder (ask the captain).
- Fix the snorkel on the left side
- Wet your mask with seawater first
Back to the boat safely:
- Remove fins in the water.
- Hand them to the crew.
- Climb slowly using both hands.
- Sit on the edge of the boat.
- Mask and snorkel held firmly on your face
- One hand on mask, one on back of head
- Roll backward into water
- Open the fins in the water
- Get the boat from the stair
- Don’t walk with fins in the boat.
